Countless, simple blessings of our lives.
Rainy days, summer haze, school plays;
Autumn leaves, rolled up sleeves in
Photos we've taken of our lives.
Big deals, training wheels, family meals;
Our holidays and each childhood phase
On storied pages of our lives.
Killer braces, favorite places, silly faces;
Imperfect hair and prom night flair
Number among the countless, daily and
God sent blessings of our lives.
It's amazing how our memories take on a new life when they are compiled, narrated and decorated in a special way.
ReplyDeleteOh! I feel so guilty now about the piles of photos I have stuffed in shoeboxes! One day I'll get them in albums so that we can enjoy them. One day...
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm over here from Six Word Fridays - nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteIn this digital age, I feel so guilty that I've yet to compile a photo album of my family. I moved recently and found SO MANY old albums that I flipped through and I was flooded with memories from my own past. Someday I'll get to it. Meanwhile, thank goodness for really big hard drives that store countless photos. :)
Yummy acrostic full of blessings!
ReplyDeleteI have tons of photos too that need to be compiled, sorted into a book of memories. I keep saying "some day". I should really get on it. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat blessings!
ReplyDeleteKeeping your memories in order: blessed!
ReplyDeleteThis poem flows beautifully!
