Six Word Fridays - Wave

From behind the lens I see

winter blues and snow so white;

knotty branches so softly dusted and

pine trees reaching for the sky.

Tiny drops and flakes cling, glisten

and work their magic all around.

When from behind the lens I
see each shadow, each minuscule detail
and each treasure that calls out
to be photographed....well, I breathe.
Time slows down; my spinning, churning
thoughts settle down and a tidal
wave of peace washes over me.
