Wildflowers

I spent time last weekend with a huge field of wildflowers.
Captivated, I lost myself in a sort of timelessness.
I'm not sure, but I might have a new first love.

I think it's the beauty in the arbitrary that tugs at my heart. And the colors.
And all the swaying in the wind. The bowing down, bouncing up and circling around all done in perfect unison.
God's gentle flash mob.

I've got a little project going on with these photos - hope to share some finished shots later this week!

Dreamy, right?

  2. "God's gentle flash mob" -- I love that thought! What a beautiful series of images here, Adrienne. I must say that I grew up with fields of flowers surrounding our house, and for that reason, they are dear to my heart. :) xoxo

  4. These are so beautiful! My scavenger hunt this week had a weeds/grasses theme quite similar to these shots.
