Black & White Wednesday ~ Fog?

Last week,
on the way home from work,
the pond was putting on quite a show.
The icy snow on the pond's surface
was melting upwards!
I don't know if you'd call it steam or fog,
but the effect all around the pond was quite dramatic.
Enjoy!

  3. The images are so mystical and magical, like a scene out of Narnia. I went through them a few times to try and choose a favorite, but each is equally wonderful. I love the hint of land and trees in the background...

  8. I like the last two shots best-really show the steam fog. We had a foggy morning here yesterday and I shot pictures of it too.

  14. Hi Adrienne,
Is this the Horn Pond that is close to Wildwood Cemetery in Winchester, MA? I went twice to that cemetery for the first time last week and then over to Mt. Auburn Cemetery...such a beautiful cemetery! I was owl hunting! Awesome photos, I hope spring weather will arrive soon :)
    Have a good week!
