I'm weary tonight.
No big reason, just feeling tired.
We're getting ready for a long weekend away with good friends.
A wedding.
And a road trip.
And lots of catching up.
Then there's a long trip at the end of the month,
so I guess I'm working extra hard to get my ducks in a row.
I love these evening shadows.
Very peaceful.
Inviting me to wind down,
stop making to-do lists
and rest.
Thanks to everyone who links up here on Wednesdays.
I love seeing all of your beautiful black & white shots!
I'm also joining friends for
Shadows sometimes interfere but in black and white photographs are very important. Podreślają some elements or create additional. In the picture I really like the tree is slanted.
ReplyDeleteWe are all a bit worn out over here on this rather tiny island as well. I think it's all the rain and cool weather we've been having. They are telling us we need the rain...which I find difficult to believe after the record breaking snowmageddon winter we had. It is going to be warmer and dryer for the Fourth though so that is nice. Have a wonderful time with all your fun busyness. Get some rest. It seems it's always feast or famine...either there is not a minute to yourself or you are sitting alone on the couch.
ReplyDeleteyou have been very busy adrienne, trying to get it all in. every last second of every minute of the day!!! making sure it all counts, more vigorously than ever. perhaps it is the thought of winter, and all that snow that pushes you just a little bit harder!!!
ReplyDeleteyou always seem to capture the perfect words to represent your images!!!
beautiful b&w!
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way yesterday...end of the month doldrums...
