After the Rain

after the rain

i wandered, barefoot, through the wet grass

enjoyed the sweet aroma of the chilly air

and focused for a few moments on these pink beauties

Icy Reflections

Sometimes the simplest things take my breath away.
Take some frozen water.
Add a bit more water that's oh-so-frosty-but-not-quite-frozen.
Toss in a fallen branch.
Mix all this with a sunshiny, blue sky kinda day
and the result is beautiful.
Magical.

a pup, a pond...and a sunset

"We should run through the forests,
we should swim in the streams,
we should laugh,
we should cry,
we should love,
we should dream
we should stare at the stars
and not at the screen."
Scare Away the Dark ~ Passenger

Two hours in the fresh air,
on a perfect summer evening,
at the end of a work week....
with the cutest 'grandpuppy' on the planet
and my husband!
Doesn't get any better than this!
