I chose rest this weekend. Chose rest over camping, over company. It's not easy for me to choose rest. My head is easily filled with "shoulds" and "coulds" and I admit that feelings of guilt come creeping in pretty quickly on the heels of those thoughts. But not today. Not this weekend. I couldn't be happier right now that my feet are up and that books and naps are waiting for me. And to think...after today's rest, there's another whole day of doing nothing tomorrow!

We have something else in common--scrapbooking. Though I'm terribly behind, it is one of my favorite hobbies.
Rest is delicious isn't it? and with those nails painted so pretty and books next to you...you are doing just fine :)
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way about rest - so many things COULD be getting done, but sometimes spending the day on the couch is the best thing ever!
