The Tree at The Corner

"I remember, I remember,
The house where I was born,
The little window where the sun
came peeping in at morn.
He never came a wink too soon,
nor brought too long a day...."
Thomas Hood

This tree, that hugs the corner of a small apartment building near my house,
reminds me of a tree that hugs the corner of my childhood home.
Not the same bloom, or the same architecture...
but it's the color combination...
and the soft flower set against the jagged stucco.
The subtle combination of our natural world
and the man made...

Shoot, edit.....and voila!
My own little stroll down memory lane.

  6. wonderful story and great shots. the third one is my favorite because of the stucco wall and the blue ridge at the bottom, very painterly. love it!

  8. Love the light and the contrast between the soft pinkness of the tree and the building -- and the beautiful tones in the last one!

  13. My fave is the 2nd one with the pink against the blue pattern. I am drawn to images that include nature interacting with manmade. These surely fit that. Nicely done.
