As the sun settles across the
pond, I stand. I stand beneath
a fiery tree and drink in
every shade of red she offers.
The wind is crisp, the water
ripples and fall has, yet again,
cast a mesmerizing spell on me.

ReplyDeleteI love red maples. They bring to mind a neighbor I had growing up. We remained close to him until he died about 10 years ago. He had a red maple in his yard and he loved it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a colorful fall this year. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty love the lake in the back ground and the bokeh.
ReplyDeleteI could live near that lake myself. LOL. Lovely shots. The red bush by the gate, I noticed is in several other yards too, yet I never noticed before. Thank you for stopping by Sanukipity Photography.
ReplyDeleteFire red...love that second shot with the clarity of the red leaf in the foreground and bits of bokeh in the back. Lovin' my Autumn this year. The colors seem to be more vibrant for some reason.
