Six Word Fridays ~ Egg

The little blue egg. Carrying life.
A sign of spring, of rebirth.
So dainty. So very fragile, so
very tough ... yes, just tough enough.

The little baby bird, protected by
the shell. Protected in the nest.
So tiny. Fragile. Until it's time
to spread her wings and fly.

I love each little blue egg.
And each mama's fragile heart that
has to grow tough....yes, just
tough enough to let them fly.

  8. Thanks for hosting! I thought I didn't have an "egg" shot but then I realized had photographed a window decorated with cut-out eggs.
