What's a road trip without a huge, steel bridge?!
This is one of my all time favorites.
The Tappan Zee!
It crosses the Hudson River in NY at one of its widest points.
On a clear day you can see the NY city skyline in the distance if you know just when to look.

Good conversation, perfect weather, no traffic, a long play list...
and a camera to help me kill time.
I do love road trips!

And the years go flying by
I hope you smile
If I ever cross your mind."

ReplyDeleteIn contrast, my ontribution is more chilled.
The Tappan Zee! I remember crossing it on a summer morning as I was driving, by myself, from NJ to Maine. The sun was just coming up. Oh! What a magical moment! It's a GREAT bridge to cross when one is on a Magical Mystery Tour! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove this image, A! Really nice contrast and structure. Glad you had such a nice time on your road trip. At this stage it is hard for us to enjoy with 3 kids, but I remember those young adult days where a road trip had possibilities!
ReplyDeleteGreat bridge shot ~ well done ~ Happy Week ^_^
