On Saturday, Brian and I took a walk.
A long walk down memory lane!
We headed to Concord, Massachusetts to visit the town where our wedding was held!
We started at the Old North Bridge ~
the scene of some after ceremony wedding photos.
Then we headed to the church and found the groundskeeper ~
who let us in and walked us through the whole building!
Our last stop was for an early supper on the porch of
the Colonial Inn ~ the site of our reception.
It was so good to walk and talk and relive all those wonderful memories!
The most random {and humorous} sight of the day was
watching the biker guys and the colonial guides mix it up
and pose for photos!
We had such fun playing tourist.
I enjoyed the photo-ops
{Concord is really beautiful!}
and Brian enjoyed making me laugh...
Cheers!
Here's to another 30 years!

How fun!! Love the comparison shots, how great is that to have to cherish now!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Tamar loving those comparison shots. But the biker/colonist ones are neat too. As are all the other ones right down to your lovely 30 year toast. Ray and I will be at 30 in 2016. I told him for once, I want a party!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to both of you. It's not so much of a regular occurrence as it once was. I mention 28 years together, and people go: wow, really!?
What fun to have recreated some of the shots from 30 years ago!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!
How fun! You two have been having a very romantic August! COngrats again!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 30th anniversary! It looks like you had a lovely wedding and a great time reliving it and even getting similar photos. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLovely ceremony, and walking fotos, greeting from Belgium.

How lovely, a trip down memory lane is a wonderful way to measure life :)
ReplyDeleteLove the biker photo too.
A lovely trip down memory lane! I wore a hat very similar to yours when I got married. 31 years for us.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post and photos. Concord MA is a special place. My husband and I honeymooned at the Colonial Inn in 1985. We have revisited many times including a few Thanksgivings and Christmases. The food is always good as are the accommodations. You make me want to return yet again.
ReplyDeleteawwww, what beautiful images and special memories!!
ReplyDeletewe've come a long way baby!!!
