Most especially when they welcome their friends, the honey bees!

As the soft petals begin to twist and curl in.
When yellow gives way to fall's orange gold.
I love sunflowers.
From stem to leaf to bud to flower.
As they bloom and as they fade away.
They never, ever fail to bring a smile to my face!

ReplyDeleteLovely sunflower shots--all of them! I especially like the one with the honeybee. It's sad to see the flowers day as autumn comes and winter nears, but they are beautiful and useful even in death!
