As the landscape fades around us,
and the birds nibble at the last berries,
I find myself enjoying these last bursts of autumn.
There are still a handful of trees
showing off the bold yellows of the season.
Among all the dried, fallen leaves
and empty branches
they feel like one big pocket full of sunshine!
You have captured every last shred of fall!! It's freezing here at the shore today!! Good thing I had no where to go!!
ReplyDeleteHi Adrienne, such pretty photos and so full of sunshine. Too bad we really can't keep some in our pockets for those gray, cold days. Enjoy the last of autumn.
ReplyDeletePlant me down on that bench so I can soak in the beauty.
ReplyDeleteThere is something about those last bursts of color - the bright spots amid the bare trees!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I'm missing seeing "yellow" around here these days. Brown is kinda taking over. Thanks for joining in at Song-ography.
ReplyDeleteI think that is a treeful of sunshine
