Deep in her eyes,
I think I see the future.
I {tulip} realize this is my last chance.
She {the wind} took my arm,
I don't know how it happened.
We took the floor andshe {wind} said,
"Oh, don't you dare look back.
Just keep your eyes on me."
I {tulip} said, "You're holding back, "
She {wind} said, "Shut up and dance with me!"
Thiswoman {wind} is my destiny
She {wind} said, "Ooh-ooh-hoo,
Shut up and dance!"
I think I see the future.
I don't know how it happened.
We took the floor and
"Oh, don't you dare look back.
Just keep your eyes on me."
This
Shut up and dance!"
{Walk the Moon}
The gorgeous tulips that decorate the spring landscape
are only here for such a short time.
Before long,
the wind leads them in a swoon-worthy dance.
The tulips join in...
they just can't resist!
Even though they know this last chance,
this last dance on the breeze,
will send their petals
gently to the ground.
