Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high
I've been known to sing this old John Denver tune out loud as I wander.
To myself, of course.
And the birds, I suppose.
My jaunts around the pond this weekend were filled with sunshine.
And hot summer air.
A few climbs.
A lot of walking.
And some lazy meandering.
Just the way I like it!

Hello, This song does get stuck in my head too. Awesome shadow shot and I love the swan reflection. Lovely images!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Tuesday!
So so pretty! I drove down 38 this am (to avoid 93) and saw swans out on the water by the Winchester town hall - must go back!
ReplyDeleteI like the first shot! Is that a Selfie?
ReplyDeleteI love numer 1 & 3. Very nice. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections in both the swan photo and in the words of the song.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I'm sure I will be humming it all day as well!!
ReplyDeleteI miss John Denver - so many of his songs were just so simple and pure and yet filling. Lovely choice for your images from your walk.
ReplyDeleteYes! A perfect song to go with your lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteLove this JD song, too, it always makes me happy, gorgeous captures!
ReplyDeleteDang you! Now you've got me missing John! I hadn't thought about him in awhile until your post. Seriously, what a fabulous song and a talent taken from us way too young. Lovin' that swan shot with the sun and reflection. Just brilliant! Thanks for sharing at Song-ography!
