Thanksgiving Thoughts {day 2}

I'm grateful for my the "I have four walls and a roof" sense of the word.
I'm grateful for my the "best family in the world lives here" meaning of home.
I'm grateful for my the "Love that dirty water, Boston you're my home" kind of a way.

We've got history.
And seasons.
Great sports teams.
The ocean.
Music, museums, shows, artisans and international cuisine.
There's so much to see and do!

My favorite thing about this corner of the world has got to be the blending of the old and the new. A modern city that's grown up around revolutionary war homes, churches and government buildings. Families that have roots here dating back generations are settled in among college kids that arrive from all over the world. There are young students to create new music and a world renowned symphony orchestra. Something for everyone.

I can honestly say....there's no place like home!

  1. Thanks for sharing your love of home. We visited Boston last year: it's a busy place!

  2. There truly is no place like home is there? Sometimes I just miss that notion of home!

  3. Home is the best place. Love this black and white. Gothic arched widows and slick glass. What great contrast.

  4. Adrienne, this is gorgeous! What a great shot! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  5. Lovely, Adrienne. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones!

  6. Wonderful perspective.
It's how I actually feel when on a city street looking up.
Difficult to capture in a photo; this is great!

  7. we watched the wizard of oz last night, what an amazing movie!!

this is beautiful adrienne, you have so much appreciation for everything, big and small, it all matters!!

  8. Great photo.
    Perfect in B&W.
    Love the perspective.
