Black & White Wednesdays ~ Around the Town

Just a little glimpse of the stream that runs through the town center.
This is how our week began here in my neck of the woods.
March has, in deed, come in like a lion.
A gentle lion, but a lion none the less.

The bitterest of cold days has passed,
so wandering has become almost pleasant.

And I'd wander just about anywhere
to photograph the rose of sharon in winter time.

  8. We managed to get the full effect of the lion with all its teeth - snow, ice, floods, no electricity, desecrated roads. What's more, it appears to have been a lion with chihuahua tendencies cause it just keeps nipping at our ankles. (week later and the water is still threatening and the power flickers constantly)
